Voice
Healthy technique, ear training, repertoire-building, audition prep, and song interpretation. For musical-theater singers, pop singers, and anyone who wants to find their voice on the instrument they already own.
Ukulele
From your very first chord through fingerstyle arrangements, strumming patterns, and writing your own songs. Bring whatever uke you have, or borrow one of mine.
Guitar
Acoustic guitar for songwriters and accompanists. Chord vocabulary, rhythm patterns, fingerpicking, and how to play and sing at the same time without your brain falling out.
Format + scheduling
- 30 minutes: quick check-ins, focused technique work, younger students.
- 45 minutes: most students. Time for warm-ups, current piece, new material.
- 60 minutes: deeper sessions, audition prep, songwriting work.
Lessons run weekly during the school year, with summer flex schedules available. I work with all ages and all levels, from "I have never sung a note in front of anyone" to active audition prep.
